We will assist you in resolving your emergency situation. If you are greeted by voicemail, please follow the instructions. It is important to speak clearly, and leave a valid phone number so we can call you right back.
Please remember that it is your responsibility to protect your home and your personal property from possible damage in an emergency.
NOTE: You will be responsible for the cost of any non-warrantable emergency repairs.
Cambridge Homes defines emergencies as:
- A RUPTURED WATER LINE that requires the main service valve turned in order to avoid further damage.
- TOTAL STOPPAGE OF PLUMBING SEWER SYSTEM (this coverage is limited to the first 30 days of occupancy).
- TOTAL LOSS OF HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM during extreme conditions.
- A GAS LEAK; in the event of a suspected natural gas leak, contact the local gas company immediately.
- TOTAL LOSS OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
If you believe that you have an actual emergency, you should first take any steps necessary to protect you and your family from harm. Do not hesitate to call local emergency numbers located in the general information section of your Homeowner Maintenance Manual.
After you have secured your personal and family's safety, you should take steps to lessen the effects of the emergency such as turning off your water main if you have a severe water leak or closing your gas valve at the meter if you have a gas leak. Do not delay in reporting an emergency. Subsequent damage caused by a delay in reporting an emergency will not be the responsibility of Cambridge Homes.
